Dont you just love crap documentation

This morning I have been working on some JSF development. Its my first real go at creating JSF. I have to say the documentation is crap. I eventually found how the syntax worked by making what I thought was a typo and it turning out good in the end.

I have spent the weekend reading the O'Reilly manual on JSF as well. Although it says it is aimed at ever "developement role" its pitched firmly at the back end boys. There are no examples of the syntax of the various tags!

Good, clear, consistent documentation that is not a complete work of fiction is vital for any technology product. Then again I guess this is why so many on line forums do well. So people can help one another.
