My pc just died on me
Got up this morning and turned on my pc. It took ages to boot, ages and ages. It got as far as displaying the background image and then gave up the ghost more or less completely. Luckilly when my brother put it together for me he used PowerQuest to make a system back up.
So far we have got the back up back on. Now to do Windows update on a system that is in effect 2 years old. This might take a while. Then there is getting the new Nvidia drivers, Firebird and Thunderbird, OOo, Photoshop, Illustrator etc etc to put on.
Its turning out to be a long day...
